You may find that other settings will work with your mail client.
Only the settings described here are guaranteed to always be supported (i.e., anything else could someday change without warning).
Specifically, supported settings use mail.*
and smtp.*
as the hostnames, and use secure connections.
If you have your own security certificate for mail, you should be using your own domain name; e.g., smtp.example.com
instead of smtp.pacificdomains.net
.
